People with a Taurus Sun are often particularly interested in history, gardening, homemaking, tools, and comfort. Everything in their life must be of good quality. They are also famously stubborn and difficult to hurry. This can be grounding to be around. A lot of them have a cozy animal-like energy: horse or cat are very common comparisons. This animal-like energy is also common with Taurus Risings.

Many Taurus Suns enjoy working on their physical fitness, particularly building musculature. They are not very prone to flights of fancy, tend to make important decisions carefully and with much time and consideration.

Good gifts for Taurus Suns are high-quality items with a sensory component, like a fine whiskey or a particularly soft blanket. You should pay attention to what luxuries they enjoy.

Taurus is ruled by Venus, so their Venus position (and its essential dignity) will affect the tone of their life. People with Taurus Sun are also fairly likely to have Venus in Taurus, because Venus stays within two signs of the Sun. This proximity is because Venus orbits interior to the Earth in the solar system.

There are basically two types of Taurus Suns: 1)Taurus Suns with a Venus that is normal or better. These would be those with Venus in Taurus, Pisces, Gemini, or Cancer. These Taurus Suns have a sensual romantic sensibility, although in different flavors (depending on Venus), and probably center their life around high quality sensual experiences. Unless there’s strong aspect to Mars or Pluto going on, they are usually straightforward romantics.

2)Taurus Suns with Venus in Aries, in detriment. Several of the Taurus Suns that I know personally with this placement are closer to the aromantic side, and have a deep interest in military history, especially in high quality items and tools used in war, like armor, weapons, ships, etc. They are more likely to be attracted to people with martial (Mars) qualities: decisive, fiesty, trained in fighting, etc., and they may not want to settle down in a relationship for a long time, if ever.
